John Lill is Britain’s best-loved pianist, a great exponent of the classical keyboard tradition, bringing extraordinary depth and humanity to the music he plays. He makes his first appearance at Lower Machen with a programme ranging from one of Beethoven’s best-known sonatas, Schumann’s gallery of fantastical characters and Brahms’ monumental tribute to Handel – one of the peaks of romantic piano music. Book now to avoid disappointment.

This concert has been made possible with the support of Julian Mitchell and Robert Rowson

“"He is one of the greatest pianists alive today. Across the board, I do not know another pianist who could hold a candle to this magisterial keyboard player. Unsurpassed playing. An intellectual giant and mastercraftsman. Beyond words." The Glasgow Herald
