Ensemble Cymru bring this year’s Festival to a close with one of the great pieces of chamber music of early romanticism – the serenely lyrical and optimistic Octet by Schubert. Ensemble Cymru are one of Wales’ busiest chamber ensembles and are developing a reputation for lively, polished performances that establish an instant rapport with audiences.
